The Start of a new beginning....

Posted on Mar 28th, 2007 by Rebecca : Experience Maker Rebecca
Life is interesting... it crazy how things fall into place when you are positive and believe in it...

My friend has asked me to help her start her own company. It's great... I'm just finishing my final semester in school, and have always wanted to start my own company, but I didn't know in what... In reality it isn't my company, but hey, I get to be part of a new thing with a person I love.

The really interesting part... neither of us have any experience with the real business side of things, i.e. business plans, getting investors (cause we definitely don't have the capital to make this work ourselves), buying the land.... and the list goes on.

I've finally started some research and well, considering the lack of money, it is hard to find so many things for free. Seeing as I'm still in school I don't have all the time to take a business plan writing class, or an advertising class... or anything really, and seeing as free literature is few and far between (could be I don't know yet exactly what I'm looking for)... I'm in a pickle.

You can't get investors without a business plan or without an acutal product. Where do you even start with the business plan... the thing is you have to start though, you have to get all those ideas on paper so they will become a reality and not just some amazing idea, stuck in your head... it's just the beginning... it's exciting, and challenging.... shoot, ideas like Zaadz are inspiring for sure... and who knows...

All I know is that it will work out... it's hard work though for sure...

Question of the day... more like my life!!!

When i listen to the news it makes me wonder... Why are celebrities the ones who get free stuff everywhere they go, when they are the ones mostly likely to be able to pay for it? Example: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wedding... It cost $50,000 just to have the wedding in the chruch they are having it in... and yet he didn't have to pay for it because the mayor was happy they choe his town for the wedding.  Does that even make anysense. No...

It doesn't make any sense that people that can afford whatever, receive it for free, when there are people out there that can't afford daily things or people that can just barely afford or people that can only afford by going into huge debt....

I'm confused for sure.
